A Tome in the Attic
Grandma would often read me stories from a mysterious book every night before bed. After her passing, the tome and the stories seemed to die with her. But during a visit back home, I found it amongst the clutter. As I reached out to touch it… A demon appeared?

most adorable sh*t I've seen in a hot minute-
This is so cute!! I also like the GUI elements a lot, and I love the lighting on Allin's sprite.
Thanks so much! :DD
!!!! omg i loved this!! what a fun cute way to meet your grandma's boyfriend!! all grandmothers deserve a secret demon boytoy in their attic
LMAO banshee !!!! i think ur right tho.,,
thank you for playing π₯Ίπ₯Ί
ahhhh what a darling story!!! it makes me want to know more tbh!
Thank you sm!!! π I'll hopefully be able to write more stories for Allin (+ Hope maybe) in the future π₯Ί
This was sooo cute π the casual nature of just.. you and allin talking about your late grandma. it's so sweet and heartwarming. I adore the atmosphere, and the character sprite art is πππ
π Thank you so much! I'm very glad I was able to create something you enjoyed π₯Ί
How wholesome ( κα΄κ)
<3 Thank you for playing!! ^^
Oh, this was so sweet and cute!! I love the idea of learning little things you never knew about family members -- particularly in this case when it's something so otherworldly! LOL
Everything just had this very low-key cozy feel to it that made me want to stay in the world of the game even longer, from the relaxing music to the adorable GUI with the pop-up name cards, and then to Allin himself!! I absolutely loved his design?? The shirt falling off his one shoulder is killing me a bit. And his expressions were too cute! I like how just like... absolutely chill he is about everything, like he's just some groovy little lesser-demon that just so happened to love and have been a huge part of Hope's life and he's just cool with hanging out and talking about himself and the book and the MC's grandma. Makes me so curious about some of the stories that probably exist between the two of them and wanting to see more about their story π€π
At any rate, this was super cute and I really enjoyed it!! What a fantastic job!! I'm going to keep thinking about Allin now ππ
I'm so so glad you liked this lil story!! Thank you for playing!
I actually designed Allin back when I was a teenager and forgot about them lol OTL,, Very glad I randomly thought about him when the jam started! I never gave him any lore back then, but I fell in love with him while writing >u< Hopefully I can explore their character more in the future!!
Thanks again for the kind words, and for loving Allin too π₯Ί
A really sweet little story! I enjoyed the wholesomeness of the walk down memory lane Allin and the MC take, bonding over the MC's grandma!
I especially liked the lighting on the sprite and the window behind him to match! Thought it was a great detail :) Nice work!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it <3
I was nervous about matching the sprite to the background, so I'm very grateful you noticed the shading too!!! :D
